Who we are
Over 25 years of getting the list done.
Panda Handyman has been serving Maryland homeowners for more than 25 years. We work out of Havre de Grace, and our whole service area is Harford County — close enough that we are not quoting drive time into every job.
The work splits into two halves. Most weeks it is repair and maintenance: drywall patches, a leaking faucet, a deck board gone soft, gutters before the leaves come down. The rest is remodeling — kitchens, bathrooms, and basement finishing that run several weeks with permits and inspections. Same crew, same phone number, either way.
We are licensed by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC #166189) and carry liability insurance. Maryland requires an MHIC license for any home improvement work over $500 — you can verify ours, and any other contractor's, on the Maryland Department of Labor website.

We show up
The most common complaint about handymen is that they never called back. We answer the phone, we give a scheduling window, and we keep it.
The price is the price
You get the number before we start. If we open a wall and find something unexpected, you hear about it and approve it before we go further.
We say no when we should
Panel upgrades, main line work, roofing — we do not take jobs that belong to a specialty licensed trade. Turning down work we should not do is why people call us back.
We clean up
Drop cloths down, dust contained, debris hauled out. The job is not finished until the space is usable again.

We Show Up and Do It
We arrive in the scheduled window, protect the work area, and finish the list. If we find something unexpected behind the wall, you hear about it before we proceed.

Walk It Together
We walk the finished work with you before we leave, clean up, and haul away the debris. If something is not right, we come back.
